01 A note from Lyah
We opened in 2016 with one chair and a small kettle.
Now there are six chairs.
The kettle is the same.
Lyah Corner is a cozy little studio for women — and anyone who wants to be made to feel taken care of — to beautify and to slow down.
We offer hand-painted manicures, gel polish, nail extensions, eyelash extensions, lash perming, and unhurried foot massages, all with high-quality products and sterilised tools. The shop sits on a quiet stretch of Yên Ninh in the romantic Old Quarter of Hanoi — five minutes from West Lake.
We are an English-speaking studio. Most of our regulars are travellers, expats and visiting family — so don't worry about the language. Show us a picture, tell us your trip, and we'll do the rest.

Questions guests ask us most.
Do your staff speak English?
Yes — fluently. Most of our guests are travellers and expats, so the studio runs in English. Show us a photo and tell us your trip, we'll do the rest.
Are your tools sterilised?
Every tool is sterilised between guests, in front of you. Files and buffers that touch the nail plate are single-use. Ask us at the chair if you'd like to see the sterilisation pouch opened.
Can I pay in USD or by card?
Yes — cash (VND or USD), credit/debit card, and Vietnamese bank transfer all work. We'll show you the total before we charge.
Do you take walk-ins?
When chairs are free, yes. We're busiest 13:00–19:00. A WhatsApp message half an hour ahead almost always gets you a chair.
How long does gel polish or lash extensions last?
A gel manicure looks fresh for 14–18 days. Lash extensions last 3–5 weeks with regular fills. Tell us your trip and we'll plan around how long you want it to last.
Is there a lunch break?
We pause bookings between 12:00 and 13:00 every day. The studio is open the rest of 09:00–21:00.
How do I get to the studio?
67 Yên Ninh, Ba Đình — five minutes' walk from West Lake, ten from the Old Quarter. Grab is the fastest from the centre (~50,000 ₫ from Hoàn Kiếm).
